My 30-Minutes a Day challenges are monthly goals I have created with the intention to cultivate joy and enrich my life. Every month, I decide something I will do for myself every day for 30 minutes.
The goal is simple, take time for yourself to cultivate joy into your daily life. We all have such busy lives; it is nice to take time to focus on something that is just for you. You can follow along with me or choose your own goal!
Simple guidelines to help choose your goal:
- Your goal shouldn’t ever feel like a punishment. If your goal is to exercise, but you hate it and it isn’t something you would look forward to, DON’T DO IT.
- Choose an activity that will enhance your experience and allow you to enjoy your time.
- Find something you love or something you have wanted to try.
- Keep it simple so you can stick to it easily.
- Choose something you will look forward to participating in.
- Set your timer and take the time to be present in your choice of joyous activity.

Whatever it is you want, keep it positive, keep it small, change it up after a month and stick to just 30 minutes.
